Privacy and cookies
This page says plainly what viktaera.co.uk uses when you visit. Nothing else runs.
What the site needs to work
- Hosting and security (Cloudflare). The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver the pages and protect them from abuse, Cloudflare handles technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and browser type. Cloudflare’s security check may set a strictly necessary cookie. These are not used to build a profile of you.
- Your cookie choice. When you choose in the cookie banner, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage, under the name
viktaera-cookie-consent) so we do not ask again. It is not sent to us.
Only if you say yes: visitor statistics
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. If you accept analytics, a small script from
static.cloudflareinsights.comcounts page visits and page speed, so we can see which pages are read. It does not set cookies and is not used for advertising. If you reject analytics, the script is not loaded.
Marketing
The site does not use any marketing or advertising cookies. The Marketing switch in the cookie panel is there so that nothing of that kind can ever run without your consent.
Fonts, links and media
- Text uses fonts already on your device. No fonts are fetched from another company.
- Links to Spotify, YouTube, X, Instagram and Facebook are plain links. Nothing from those sites is embedded here. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
- The book covers and the homepage music (Meteor) are stored on this site.
If you email schools@, orders@ or hello@viktaera.co.uk, the message is forwarded to the inbox where we read it. We use it to answer you and, if you order, to send books. We do not sell the address list. See personal data protection.
